K(no)w Where to Land

I am a single twenty-something who moved from small town America to the big city. From seamstress to fashion pr. It truly is a new world. I post things that make me feel good because you might as well. I love romance, cooking to Billie Holiday, and dancing in the kitchen.
ITS HAPPENING!!!! I AM FALLING FOR THE SPARKLE FAD!!!! AND I LOVE IT!
So much has been happening as of late.  I am trying to FIGURE OUT MY LIFE. Which is a hillarious statement because life will continually unfold and figure itself out as it goes.  I am moving out of my beloved apartment by the end of this month and will not be living with my kindred spirit Olga anymore. :(  I am beyond sad to leave her but I am so thankful for her in my life. We have reminisced as of late over glasses of wine how we fell into each other’s lives.  A perfect planned accident (and I am not talking babies here). We will remain close forever though. Life is just not as lovely when she is not around.  How did I survive without her?
I am going to stay in town for a bit and I am on the job search.  I am so thankful for all of the wonderful friends in my life and I want to take advantage of it while I am here. One way that I am doing that, The Wild Heaven Beer Dinner tonight. It should be so much fun and there are pictures to come. :)
Yesterday was lovely as well, with an unexpected trip to my brother’s house and great dancing times with my nephews.  If there are Grigg’s around there best be dancing in the kitchen and yep that happened (and happens again again and again).
Then onto last night duly named SPARKLE NIGHT! In honor of Gossip Girl and the Upper East Side, Olga, Liz and I dawned all the sparkles we could find channeling our Blair and Serena side and danced the night away at prohibition night.  Gossip Girl has changed me, not to the caliber that Chuck Bass has gone good boy on us, but I am wearing sparkles whenever an excuse arises and dreaming of brooklyn apartments in my spare time.
xo gossip girl. :)
